Myers again, son of a female dog (frank) all these injuries. Jesus.

At least Lindblom and Vorobyev are playing well. Could both be late round triumphs!

Hoping this isnt going to be a regular thing with Myers but it's starting to look like it.

Have to get an early start in the morning before heading to Voorhees for the morning skate.

Nothing yet on Gudas. Hopefully an update tomorrow.

Not sure if it's a re-aggravation of the previous lower-body injury (which was probably not 100 pct yet even when he returned) or a different issue.

Honestly if Myers can make it through the season relatively healthy after this. Huge step in his development. He really has injury issues

I don't even know what to expect from this team at this point.

And eventually, I do think Danick Martel is going to straight up force this franchise to consider him for a call-up.

I know he's short, but he's way too young to be considered for AHL spinsterhood.

Is Martel on a 2 way contract or ahl only? Also why wasn't Brennan called up over alt oneill. He has nhl experience and I think better suited than oneill.

Interesting question.

Maybe they figured, all things being equal, they wanted to give O'Neill, a dude who has been around so long he was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers, his first NHL game.

Brennan was injured and only returned to play last night, which was a bit sooner than expected. Since he already played last night, may still be a bit banged up and would likely only play 8-10 minutes at most tonight anyway, I don't think they'll swap him in for O'Neill if Ghost isn't ready to go. However, after tonight, if needed, I'm sure they'd make that swap.

edit: have no idea re Martel's contract status.

If Patrick, Ghost, and Gudas aren't 100%, I say keep them out tonight. Provy-Hagg and Sanheim-Manning will all log over 20:00 again, but hopefully that will be enough against the Avs. A fast start would be great. I'm sure the boys don't want a clunker in front of the home fans before a few days off.

Agreed, rather see them err to the side of caution with injuries.

I think considering the team hasn't practiced much this week and gost Patrick didn't travel with the team it doesn't make much sense they play even if cleared to. Get some days off and practice time get everyone re acclimated and than play them. Gudas I don't expect to see until next weekend at the earliest

He’s short but seems pretty solid. I haven’t seen much of him this season, but did catch him in training camp. He was with the second tier group of prospects. He stood out immediately. Love his compete level and enthusiasm. Flyers could use a guy who puts the puck in the net.

He's a feisty little bugger, plays bigger than his size. Has decent wheels and great skills. Probably still needs to improve his play away from the puck, but if a skill player were to go down he could be a possible call up.
